Research found that working mothers may be more likely to breastfeed their babies for the recommended six months “if they can work less than 20 hours a week”. Data from 2,300 mothers showed around 60% of mothers working no more than 19 hours per week were still breastfeeding. 39% of women working at least 35 hours a week were still breastfeeding some of the time.
Poll found that modern families enjoy “just 38 minutes” of quality time together on the average weekday. A mixture of work, school and a timetable of clubs and activities is leaving many parents and children with little time to talk, play or interact as a family.
